We recently used World Space Week to discuss with the children the planets and learning their names. We examined telescopes and talked about what they are used for.
In this last week before half term we are all busy doing some exciting learning activities with the children. On National Pumpkin Day on 26 October we will be exploring the different textures within a pumpkin and looking at how to carve pumpkins.
We will be doing Halloween crafts including fizzing witches’ cauldrons and spooky spider counting. and making Halloween biscuits. We will also be having a Halloween Party where the children can dress up.
We are looking forward to what Autumn will bring with the changes of season and going out in our gardens to collect some leaves.
