Hurray for February! This month the children are marking Charles’ Dickens’ birthday on 7 February by looking at the various stories he wrote such as Oliver Twist and a Christmas Carol.
On Valentine’s Day 14 February we will be talking all about who we love and how we can show them that we love them, whether it be a mummy, daddy or family pet. The children will be making cards and taking part in Valentines themed activities
International Polar Bear Day on February 27 raises awareness on the issues facing polar bears, and the ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint. Throughout the day we will be learning all about how we can save the planet and protect the Polar Bears.
On the 28th we will be putting on our goggles and becoming mini professors for National Science Day!
Hopefully it will begin to get a little bit warmer as we look at planting vegetables and flowers ready for the Spring.
