Hope you are all enjoying the lovely Spring sunshine! May is a busy month full of more celebrations. Inspirations for the month will include National Space Day, National Childrens Day on 15th May which emphasises the importance of a healthy childhood and National Numeracy Day on 18th May which will look at the importance of mathematics in early years.
This month the children will be hunting for bees in the garden and planting flowers to make the garden extra colourful. Elmer Day gives us a chance to read our favourite Elmer stories and wear crazy colours!
Our five new caterpillars have also arrived! The children will be choosing names for them and are looking forward to watching them develop into beautiful butterflies. We will also be making a wormery and will use this opportunity to learn about caring for all living things.
