On 5th May the children will be taking part in different Coronation themed activities. They will dress as Kings or Queens, have fish and chips and ice cream for lunch. Afternoon tea will include scones with jam and cream. We will be making crowns and doing lots of crafts in celebration of our new King including putting up bunting.
Next week we will be discussing Road Safety and the importance of numbers for National Numeracy Day. There will also be a cake in the nursery to raise money for Dogs Trust. We will celebrate International Nurses Day on the 12th May through role play, stories and by giving thanks to the wonderful nurses in our community.
We will be making the most of the lovely sunshine by getting out in the garden, making scarecrows, and planting seeds. Our caterpillars are growing nicely, and the children are enjoying studying them.
